Velká Lhota
Velká Lhota je obec 7 km vzálená od Volfířova, je specifická svými dvěma evangelickými kostely, ojedinělými v Evropě, které jsou postaveny ve vsi na kopci.
Leží v nadmořské výšce 603 m, což je po součástí Lhoty Poldovce s 700 m, druhá nejvýše položená vesnice v okolí. Velká Lhota má 185
obyvatel, v roce 1850 jich zde bylo 311.
Obec leží na styku Jihlavských vrchů ( Hradisko 760m.n.m. ) a údolí Volfířovského potoka.
První informace pocházejí z roku 1385, kdy se vesnice jmenovala Rozseč a patřila pod panství hradu Šternberk.
Od roku 1877 je ve Lhotě škola, která funguje dodnes od 1. do 5. ročníku.
V obci funguje veřejná knihovna s možností přístupu na internet.
Pro zájemce je k dispozici naučná stezka mapující dějiny reformace a protireformace v regionu.
